I am collecting, recording and sharing the ancestral legacies of Black women who have transformed the pain and despair of systemic racism, subjugation and prejudice into healing capacities for compassion, forgiveness, innovation and creativity. My vision is to immerse myself in unearthing and connecting the stories of these uniquely acquired attributes of Black women through traditional research, personal dialogue and stories, and using spiritual contemplative practices such as prayer, meditation and ritual, to access discernment of the spirit.
