After two years teaching developmental writing, she found her passion and purpose in the ESL classroom, and she graduated with her M.A. in English with a TESOL endorsement from Morehead State University in 2016. Since then, she has led RACC’s EAP program and the Academic Literacy and Language Center, mentoring instructors and tutors, developing curricula, and ensuring the success of multilingual learners of English in EAP and beyond. Notably, in 2020, Eleisha received an Excellence Award from the League for Innovation in the Community College.
