Elena’s nearly 20 years of consulting and coaching experience has afforded her an inside look at how different organizations operate and what it takes to succeed. She has worked in the public, private and non-profit sectors and supported both established and emerging companies.
Elena spent the majority of her career as a healthcare strategy and change management consultant, serving commercial, government, and non-profit clients and mentoring emerging companies. She’s had the privilege of working with hundreds of companies in the digital health and life sciences industry, supporting projects on consumer and patient engagement; telehealth; holistic wellness and nutrition; home health, caregiving and independent living; and innovations in gene therapy, oncology, medical devices, rare disease drug development, global vaccine management and AI-driven digital therapeutics and diagnostics. Elena has advised and mentored entrepreneurs and start-ups at 1776, a global incubator and seed fund located in Washington, DC., and at Women in Technology, as well as students, academics and start-ups through the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health and DC I-Corps. Elena has also contributed to features in Entrepreneur, Thrive Global and Medium.
Prior to founding Mosaic Growth Partners, Elena led AARP Services' business development efforts in health and caregiving. At AARP, she was responsible for securing strategic partnerships, developing new business models and serving as an innovation champion. In this role, she built deep market knowledge and a strong industry network by working with hundreds of emerging and established companies.
Elena also spent nearly 10 years as a management consultant, primarily with Deloitte Consulting, where she led strategy, human capital and technology engagements for federal health clients and the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions. She also led sales and capture strategy, teaming, strategic business development and client excellence for the Department of Defense Military Health System account.
Elena is a Project Management Professional, a coach certified by the International Coach Federation, and certified Agile Scrum Master. She graduated with a Master of Public Policy from American University and a B.A. in Political Science with High Honors from the University of Michigan.
