Eric Capehart is a Professional Counselor, Certified Life Coach and Certified Boxing Coach with USA Boxing. Over his career Eric has amassed more than 10,000 hours of practice as a counselor, mentor and life coach. As a professional speaker Eric is an experienced speaker for events, facilitating workshops, and teaching corporate trainings. He is the author of several books and eBooks including The Miracle Maker. Uncovering the Hidden Miracles in Mentorship.

Eric was born in Nashville, TN. in the early 80’s but spent the first 7 years of his life living abroad in Wiesbaden,Germany. Eric lived in various American cities and  after graduating from John Overton High School (Nashville,Tn.) in 1999, he went on to graduate from Tennessee State University (B.S., 2004). A few years after his undergraduate studies and a stint with a Lawn Business, Eric choose to attend the University of Phoenix and received his MBA.

Eric is the visionary founder of All The Kings Men. AKM was founded in 2007 with a mission to provide African American male youth greater access to delinquency prevention and early intervention programs.

In 2009, Eric was appointed Chairman of the Davidson County Disproportionate Minority Contact (DMC) Task Force. DMC refers to the overrepresentation of children of color entangled in Juvenile Court Systems across America. In most many cases, African American Males make up the highest populations of children coming into contact with the Juvenile Justice System.

Eric has received a few awards that include Nashvilles Top 30 Under 30 Award in 2009, Professional Advocate of the Year in 2010, and a few others.

In 2010 Eric was recognized by his Alma Mater, Tennessee State University,  as an Individual that has made noteworthy contributions to the University’s history, by taking the “Think Big, TSU BIG!” approach to my areas of study and expertise while impacting the campus community and beyond.

Eric has a reputation as a calming presenter. Eric’s ability to captivate his audience with his soft yet captivating tone connects with audiences of all ages. Eric has a distinctive personality that reflects a life of perseverance, hope and accomplishment.
