Khadijah A. Robinson has led an impressive career as a lawyer, entrepreneur, and innovator in her years working in the legal and tech industries. After graduating from Spelman College, Khadijah received a MSc from the University College London and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She has practiced law in Washington, D.C. for several years, before she started The Nile List. In 2020, just 3 weeks after the public launch of The Nile List, she won the first ever virtual Black Girl Ventures Pitch Competition. Khadijah has also been featured in several well-known industry publications, including The Grio, Forbes, CNBC, Today.com, Oprah Daily, BUST Magazine, and more.Prior to her founding the The Nile List, Robinson worked as an associate at renowned law firm Covington & Burling LLP, based in Washington, DC. While at Covington, Robinson founded The Nile List, and led The Nile List until it was acquired by Empower Global in June 2021. A self-described community-builder, she spent several years creating platforms that uplift Black entrepreneurs. Following the acquisition of The Nile List by Combs Enterprises and Empower Global, led by Sean “Love” Combs, Khadijah served as CEO of Empower Global for 2 years, overseeing development and spearheading all Empower Global efforts to build an innovative curated marketplace of Black-owned brands. Khadijah has secured committments for millions of dollars in capital in her career, built revenue generating partnerships, and scaled teams from by 20x.But, she is more than just her work and accomplishments. Khadijah lives life as a free Black girl who travels, shops (with the dopest Black businesses, of course), yells at white supremacists on Twitter, tries to keep her plants alive, and bakes. She will tell you exactly what’s on her mind at any given time, and has gotten in trouble - good trouble - for it often. This website reflects her journey as a whole person who roots for everybody Black in a myriad of ways in life, not just her work as a consultant, an entrepreneur and founder.
