Michael Heim is the Director of Migrant Education Student Access & Support (MESAS) at Washington State University and has overseen The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) and The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) at WSU for 7 years. WSU CAMP was recognized as an “Examples” Finalist in 2019, 2022 and 2024.
He has worked with TRiO grant projects (SSS, UB, EOC and Gear Up), El Instituto de Mexicanos en el Exterior (IME) via el consulado de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos for grant writing and evaluation projects, worked closely with OME staff and Leadership of the National HEPCAMP Association to serve as a New Director Mentor/Coach for the Office of Migrant Education – He holds current membership of the American Evaluation Association (AEA). He has provided Coaching, Mentoring and Professional Development in Higher Education for over 10 years. He is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) and holds an International Coaching Federation (ICF) - Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential.
