I really don’t like to talk about myself at all. I like to build relationships and lead with value. But since this is the about page, here’s some info:

My Mama named me Tommie Powers but my Business Homies call me Tommie Traffic. I’ve personally managed over $130M of digital advertising so far in my career that allowed my clients and partners to sell over $700M (and counting) worth of products and services..

How I became Tommie Traffic is a funny story I’ll share with you once we get to know each other. But the short version is that I owe it to Ron Douglas. He was the first person to call me that and when I mentioned it to other people, they said they really liked it. Then one day while speaking at an event, I asked a crowd of over 400 people what they thought about the name. The crowd’s response was overwhelming and from that day forward the name stuck.

My heart and soul is my family. I have a great marriage to my wife Roshonda, with whom I’ve been lucky enough to have 3 beautiful children. My Daughters Triniti and Tristin, and my Son Tayden (they are giving me a run for it! My Mama warned me I’d get everything back I gave her LOL!).

Even though I got street game, in high school I was an undercover nerd which got me into the NASA Space Grant Program.

Recently I spent nearly 4 years mentoring companies on growth in Silicon Valley with a VC firm called 500 Startups as a distribution hacker.

Here’s what I can promise you about what you will get from me:

1. I’ll always be honest. I hate liars.
2. I tell it like it is. I don’t sugarcoat stuff. We call that “keeping it 100.”
3. I’ll only share stuff I know based on real data and real results. I’m not into theories and I don’t like people who claim to be experts and teach as if they’ve proven their theory, but don’t have any data to back up what they are saying. Drives me nuts.
4. I’ll probably say a curse word at some point. Basically, whatever comes up in my mind is what comes out of my mouth. If you don’t like that sort of thing or think it’s not professional, then I’m not your guy. My job isn’t to teach you how to be professional. My job is to show you how to get some fucking results (see what I did there?). Period.
