How is it that so many of us are successful in terms of the money, business, and career we are told to chase but are left feeling empty and unfulfilled? With the world obsessed with the perception of perfection and a highlight reel of success, where is the strategy or equation for peace, self-awareness, and growth?
Tired of having these conversations behind closed doors, Jess welcomes Emmelie Delacruz to discuss defining our own version of success rather than adhering to what society convinces us that we want. Listen in as the founder of One Day CMO and the Sanity and Success podcast tells you to stop working for the sake of an online image and ask yourself, what is it all for? What do you want? What makes you happy? And start living your dream life NOW!
KEY POINTS:
QUOTABLES:
“We just keep feeding our egos because we think that's what's gonna make us happy. And then every time we cross another one of those things off of our to-do list, we still feel exactly the same. Because purpose and fulfillment doesn't come from what you cross off your to-do list, right? It comes from what actually feels good.”
“I rather be a happy bitch than a miserable nice girl.”

I fell in love with Jessica’s podcast. Her guest interviews are so great. My favorite episodes are her 1 year podcast anniversary, which listed all her hurdles and things she learned about her self that made it super relatable to the journey I am embarking on. Her partner interview about your significant other support you in business was so real and put into words what I wanted and how my relationship is with my significant other about is going into business together and supporting each other. Great inspiration!!
I’ve followed from episode one and the content was amazing then. It’s only continued to improve and expose me to a ton of information I really need. Thanks for such a great show Jess.
This episode with Reign was on point. Her honest story about moving forward on her dreams after so many tries was super inspiring. Jessica always does a great job pulling out the best stories from people.
This episode was a TOTAL reality check for myself, very real and very eye opening! Keep doing your thing Jessica, I love your podcast!
