Ever wondered why you still feel exhausted even after a full 8 hours of sleep? Well, chances are you might actually be resting wrong!
In this episode, I discuss the 7 types of rest and why each and every one of them is important for your overall being. From resting your senses to recharging your social battery, these 7 types of rest, created by Saundra Dalton-Smith, will cover the different aspects of your mind and body that require a little breather every once in a while.
But don’t worry, there is absolutely no need to cover all 7 types of rest in a day, every day. As I go through each item on this list, figure out which type of rest you feel most inclined to practice; you’ll quickly uncover an area or two in your life that perhaps you didn’t realize you needed a break from! I’ve also shared some helpful tools you can use to give yourself some proper rest and relaxation that will actually restore and energize you!
So take a deep breath, maybe even pause on what you’re doing right now, and reflect on what type of rest you need the most with me today.
