How to Build Self-Confidence

We often say things like “I'll feel more confident when I finally lose the weight.” Or “I'll feel confident when I can fit into a size four.” But confidence should not be conditional! While our brains are programmed to see what’s wrong and do not produce self-confidence naturally, we must work against these beliefs, programming, and humanness. We must learn to manage our mind and practice confidence like any other skill. I love the host’s approach to weight loss / wellness, she dives into the psychology and emotional triggers behind why we behave the way we do, taking a holistic approach to advice on how to lose weight/become healthier.Episode 14 covers self care. She breaks it down between 8 different areas in your life and how you can tie them back to weight loss/implementing healthy lifestyle changes. She recommends approaching goal setting through these 8 areas.Heading home from my walk and about to dive into my journal to start doing some goal setting. Feeling so motivated!
